April Update: Passwordless Sign-In, a Redesigned Shop & Sharper Admin
We’ve just shipped one of our biggest releases yet. Here’s what’s new.
Goodbye Passwords. Hello Passkeys.
Usetix is now passwordless. No more passwords to remember. No more six-digit codes to type in from an authenticator app. When you sign in, we email you a magic link with a short confirmation code. Enter the code, and you’re in.
For even faster sign-ins, add a passkey to your account. Passkeys use your device’s built-in security — Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or a hardware key — and let you sign in with a single tap, right from the browser.
Why this matters. Passwords leak. Authenticator codes can be phished. Passkeys can’t. They’re the strongest consumer sign-in method available today, and they’re faster than any password you’ve ever typed.
What you need to do. The next time you sign in, you’ll go through the email link flow once. After that, head to Settings > Security and register a passkey. From then on, signing in takes a single tap.
A Completely Rebuilt Shop
The ticket shop got another round of deep polish. We’ve unified the event listing into a single clean layout, rebuilt the shop header from scratch, and redesigned event pages around a focused single-column hero — with a live countdown that ticks down to the moment doors open.
Performers now have a dedicated section, so your headliners get the spotlight they deserve. The FAQ has been reworked into a clean two-column layout that’s easier to scan. Ticket cards, checkout buttons, and section spacing have all been tuned for flow.
Galleries That Feel Native
Event photos now open in a full-screen, swipeable gallery. Attendees can pinch, zoom, and flip through your event imagery with native-feeling gestures on any device. Load up your best shots and let them sell the vibe.
Past Events, Properly Archived
Old events used to clutter your shop. Now they live on a dedicated archive page — discoverable for fans who want to look back, but out of the way of what’s on sale today. Past events stay browsable without diluting your current lineup.
Calendar Export & Venue Directions
Attendees can add your event directly to their calendar from the event page, and tap a venue maps link to get directions in one step. Less friction between “I want to go” and “I’m on my way.”
Drag-and-Drop Ticket Sorting
Reorder your ticket tiers with a simple drag. The order you set is the order your customers see — no more arbitrary sorting, no more deleting and re-creating tickets to get the layout right.
First-Class Time Zones
Every Usetix account now has a proper time zone. Event times, sale windows, and dashboards all display in your local zone — no more mental math when you’re running a show in one city and managing another.
Richer Event & Ticket Descriptions
The editor behind your event and ticket descriptions got a major upgrade. Formatting feels faster, pasting from other tools comes in cleaner, and richer layouts are supported without getting in the way.
WhatsApp in Your Social Links
Add your WhatsApp business number to your shop’s social profile. Fans reach you with a single tap — perfect for smaller events where personal conversation is what closes the sale.
